I lost my job and I’ve been anxious and bored and thinking a lot about computers and “the age of spiritual machines” book by Kurzweil and the concept album of the same name by Our Lady Peace and I’ve been listening to a little known hardcore band called Ishiki that has concepts about AI and I’ve been thinking of how AI and robots could be both good and horribly bad for humanity. I’ve been thinking about how the internet used to be like the Wild West and full of the bizarre and gross and fun and awful. Downloading computer programs with little fear of viruses in the days before Napster. Simpler times but also the beginning of a road we have gone a long way down. We all have phones in our pockets with more power inside them than the computers that sent man to the moon.

So I made some glitchy electronica about it.
