Releasing simultaneously with Alas Odd Rival is the second installment of the project. This mini album is an exercise in sound and ambience, while also being a continuation of growth from the first project. This is supposed to be ride from front to back. It encapsulates and bottles up a time and place in the twilight hours and shakes it up.

I was going to title this one Saudade, but for consistency this project will likely stay numbered. But the idea of this word had a lot of impact on this mini album, so to rip off Wikipedia;

Saudade (English: /saʊˈdɑːdə/,[1] European Portuguese: [sɐwˈðaðɨ], Brazilian Portuguese: [sawˈdadʒi] ⓘ, Galician: [sawˈðaðɪ], Northeast Brazil: [saw.ˈda.di]; plural saudades)[2] is an emotional state of melancholic or profoundly nostalgic longing for a beloved yet absent something or someone. It is often associated with a repressed understanding that one might never encounter the object of longing ever again. It is a recollection of feelings, experiences, places, or events, often elusive, that cause a sense of separation from the exciting, pleasant, or joyous sensations they once caused.

I had googled, “Nostalgia for something that doesn’t exist”

It’s an interesting feeling.
